I've been developing with OPENSTEP exclusively for the last 5 years. Officially, it's because OPENSTEP is the most powerful mix of Object-Oriented development tools and Client / Server infrastructure available commercially. Unofficially, it's because I can do really impressive stuff with little to no effort in OPENSTEP, and hey, I'm lazy.

I got married to an amazing woman in 1996, she actually believes that when I forget about real life it's because I'm involved in virtual life. We're very happy confusing both our families, living very differently from how our parents did.

Recently, we had our first child, a daughter. Now, in the grand tradition passed down from generation to generation, we're becoming confused because of the stuff our daughter does. She's very, very young and very, very in charge of things. I fear for my independence.

I've spent the last couple of years working on very high-end web production systems for A Very Large Corporation, hopefully I'll be able to talk more about this to my friends as opposed to claiming that "I've spent two years writing a Perl script." (It's not Perl).

I live in Glastonbury, Connecticut, near Hartford.
